OUR PRODUCTS

Product overview

We offer a wide range of PET polymer products, including both recycled and virgin PET. You can explore our product page by scrolling through it or by using the buttons to navigate directly to the information you need.

Recycled PET

Recycled PET is made from post-consumer plastic waste, reducing environmental impact and conserving resources.

Virgin PET

Virgin PET is made from new materials and has consistent quality. It is a reliable material for different applications.

RECYCLED POLYMERS

We deliver high quality polymer from Europe, Asia for demanding company

We have developed few Ecoclear variationsmainly for the bottle to bottle market.

We also serve other markets such as food packaging, cosmetic market, automotive, fibre and strapping markets.

Ecoclear

The main raw material for the Ecoclear is high quality hot washed post consumer PET Flakes

Long term agreements

We have long term supply agreements to secure the production, quantity and quality

Production in Emmen

Ecoclear production is based at Cumapol in Emmen, Netherlands

PET hot washed flakes

"Hot Washed Flakes" are PET flakes that have undergone a special washing process to remove all impurities such as labels, caps, and other plastics.
There are various applications for recycled PET, including the production of textile fibers, packaging, and other plastic products. The use of recycled PET is a sustainable alternative to the production of new plastic and helps to reduce the amount of plastic waste in the environment. We deliver diffrent colors like:

  • Clear
  • Clear/lightblue mix
  • Lightblue
  • Green
  • Mixed colour

Advantages & applications of rPET

rPET offers a sustainable alternative to virgin plastic and has several advantages including resource conservation, waste reduction, CO2 savings, and customer loyalty, energy savings and landfill reduction.

Applications of rPET are:
  • rPET resin
  • Sheet extrusion
  • Strapping
  • Fiber/filament extrusion
Resource conservation

The production of rPET requires fewer raw materials and energy than the production of virgin plastic. Using rPET helps conserve valuable resources.

rPET Food and Non-food grade resin

We offer a range of sustainable and high-quality rPET resin products suitable for both food and non-food applications. We produce our rPET resin in-house at our facilities in Cumapol Netherlands (Ecoclear) and PRT Targu Mures. Our rPET products are available in various grades with intrinsic viscosities (IV) ranging

IV from 0.70 to 0.86 for clear and colorless

IV from 0.80 to 0.95 for colored rPET.

Our rPET products are suitable for use in a wide range of applications, including:

  • Food packaging
  • Bottles for water
  • Carbonated soft drinks (CSD)
  • Strapping with high tenacity

Our commitment to sustainability and product quality is reflected in our certifications, including ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. As a trading company specializing in polymer resins, we offer a range of sustainable products including rPET resin.

VIRGIN POLYMER

We deliver high quality polymer from Europe, Asia for demanding company

Bottle grade PET

We deliver Standard grades, Fast Reheat and Refillable grades with various IV levels from 0.76 to 0.86 for different applications like:

  • Sheets
  • Strapping extrusion
  • Exstrusion blow moulding
  • Injection moulding

Homopolymer PET

Homopolymer ( Polyethylene terephthalate ) PET is very popular due to its excellent properties, including high strength, stiffness, chemical resistance, and temperature resistance.

It is also lightweight, transparent, and has good barrier properties against moisture and gases.

Additionally, it is recyclable and more environmentally friendly than some other plastics. We deliver Superbright and SemiDull with various IV levels from 0.6 to 1.00 for diffrent applications like:

  • Textile
  • Technical
  • Compound
  • CPET oven/microwave tray extrusion

PETG

PET Glycol modified Co-polymer with NPG (Neopentyl glycol) or Cyclohexane dimethanol can be copolymerized with different proportions of ethylene glycol and terephthalic acid or their derivatives to produce different types of PETG.

By using NPG or CHDM in the production of PETG, the mechanical properties of the material can be improved, particularly in terms of hardness, impact resistance, and abrasion resistance.

Speciality PET

We deliver also modified PET for technical or special applications with a very high IV level up to 1.40.

  • Low cristalisation grades
  • Hotfill
  • Low melt
  • Antimony free
  • High IPA

For PET special grades and PETG, UPT AG has a close collaboration with Selenis Portugal and Italy.
UPT AG acts as distributor for several markets and customers on behalf of Selenis
